A centrifugal compressor, or turbo compressor is a dynamic type compressor with a radial design. These compressors work at a constant pressure and their performance is affected by external conditions, for example, changes in inlet temperatures. A centrifugal compressor draws air into the center of a rotating impeller with radial blades and is pushed toward the center by centrifugal force.
